Mothers Day in BBPS
1 Mothers Day- Poem writing and card making.
The modern Mother's Day holiday was created by Anna Jarvis in Grafton, West Virginia, as a day to honor mothers and motherhood; especially within the context of families, and family relationships.[1] It is now celebrated on various days in many parts of the world, some of which have a much older tradition than the modern holiday (e.g., dating to the 16th century in the UK). .
On 4th May 2009 Mother’s Day was celebrated in Bal Bharati Public School Dwarka as the day to honour all mothers and thank them for the services they impart for the benefit of their individual child and consequently to development of mankind.
